I did two photoshoots in Harlem. The first was a street photography workshop with Leanne Staples. https://www.shootnewyorkcity.com. Harlem is a walking fashion parade on the street, particularly on a Sunday afternoon when church services are happening. The day was so great I was back there the following Saturday.

Hunter’s Point, Long Island City was very quiet on the streets, when I visited it, apart from the noise from the elevated railway. Some lovely brownstones. I was on my way to MoMA PS1, when I ran into Rodney. We had a great conversation about video and still photography, before he agreed to let me to shoot him and his shades.
